The planning is complete and the maps are ready. Our main DofE expedition has a clear destination as we head to the fascinating Moravian Karst. This location promises challenging terrain and some of the most beautiful natural scenery in the country.
A Joint Challenge for Bronze and Gold
This expedition will be special because we are joining forces across different levels. Both Bronze and Gold level participants will be heading into the deep valleys and limestone cliffs together. While the Bronze team will test their endurance on a shorter route, the Gold participants face a serious trek with several extra nights in the wilderness.
Why the Moravian Karst
We did not choose the Moravian Karst by accident. It is a place of contrasts from sun drenched meadows to dark canyons and abysses. For our teams, this means challenging navigation in rugged terrain and the necessity to handle whatever nature throws our way. Now all that is left is to pack our rucksacks, lace up our boots and go.
