Making Waves in Europe: How Perseverance Led to a Presidential Message

European Parliament President Roberta Metsola sends a personal inspiring message to our students.

Throughout the entire school year, Amjad actively dedicated himself to topics related to the European Union, politics, and civic engagement. As part of the EPAS (European Parliament Ambassador School) program, he reached out to dozens of politicians, MEPs, and other prominent figures connected to the European environment. Although not everyone replied to his messages, his perseverance and initiative yielded several highly interesting contacts and invaluable experiences.

We consider one of the greatest achievements to be securing a personal video message for our school from the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola. We deeply appreciate that Ms. Metsola took the time to address our students and support their interest in European affairs, active citizenship, and democratic values. This moment served as a huge motivation for our entire EPAS team, confirming that even the initiatives of high school students can achieve a truly European impact.
