A Unified Stand for a Cleaner Planet

As part of our ongoing environmental initiatives, the EcoTeam organized an educational workshop for our first-year students. Before the freshmen picked up their gloves to clean the school's surroundings, they gathered in the assembly hall for a presentation focused on both local action and global ecological challenges.

Building Awareness with "Ukliďme Česko"

The session kicked off with an introduction to Ukliďme Česko (Clean Up Czechia). We explained that this national movement is about more than just picking up litter; it's about a collective responsibility to eliminate illegal waste sites. We wanted our new students to see that their efforts around the school are part of a massive, country-wide wave of positive change.

Ecosystems, Biodiversity, and the Digital Connection

We highlighted how every piece of waste disrupts delicate ecosystems and emphasized that protecting biodiversity, which is the variety of life on Earth, is essential for a planet that can sustain itself and future generations. A major talking point was the cycle of pollution and water contamination. We discussed the fact that waste does not simply disappear because toxins leak into the water supply, affecting wildlife and eventually entering the human body. This is not just an environmental issue but a direct threat to human health.
